I feel so holy! Today I went to the St. Francis Festival at the Franciscan Renewal Center. I met dogs of all sizes and colors; there were a few cats, too and a gerbil! I had never seen a gerbil before - I think that might be a nice quiet pet. I saw my friend, Murphy, from Pets on Wheels . You know, the group I belong to that lets me go to Life Care Center of Scottsdale and the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center.
I didn't quite know what to make of the chubby man in the long brown dress with a belt that wasn't too stylish; it was made from rope! He must have been very hot, too, because I was really hot
and he asked my name and then said a blessing, sprinkled me with water and said, "Zoe, you have a mind of your own." I think he said that because I kept moving away from him; he was kind of scary as were the big squeak toys of a cat and dog at the entrance. I never saw such big squeak toys before!
Oh well, I feel holy!!!!

Though I'm not a chubby man in long brown dress (hee hee) I like to speak blessings over animals too! :) I'm grateful that God made animals.

That is such a good idea, Shagufta. All animals need blessings, especially when they are sick. I am sure that you take very good care of them.
